Hi! I’m Teacher Lou, and I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a native English speaker from the USA with a passion for helping children grow their English skills and confidence.
I’ve been teaching for over 10 years and hold a Master’s degree in Education from James Madison University in Virginia. My experience spans both classroom and online teaching, giving me the tools to create lessons that are clear, engaging, and tailored to each child’s needs.
As a mom of three, I understand how important it is for parents to know their child is learning in a supportive and encouraging environment. In my classes, I use songs, sign language, and movement to make lessons dynamic and memorable, while maintaining a strong focus on skill development and progress.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me spending time with my family, reading, gardening, watching ice hockey, or exploring ways to stay healthy and active.

How it works
You've Got Questions, I’ve Got Answers!
Where do you hold your teaching sessions?
Classes are taught online using the Zoom, ClassIn, or FunClass platforms. After booking the classes with me, I will send you an email with the confirmation & link for the scheduled classes.
How does it work?
1. Choose your package of lessons.
2. Contact me so we can schedule classes.
3. I will send you an invoice for the lessons.
4. After payment is received, I will send you an e-mail with the link for our classes as scheduled. (Zoom, ClassIn, or FunClass).
5. Log in to class at the scheduled date
and time and start learning!
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Please cancel or reschedule by contacting me at least 24 hours before class.
If I am not notified, I will wait for 10 minutes in the classroom. If the student does not show up and I am not notified, the class will be forfeited.
If there is an emergency, please contact me as soon as you can.
If there is an IT issue, we will work to resolve it and reschedule if needed.
